The Stroh-Skulpturen-Festival, displaying sculptures made out of straw, will be held at the “Blühende Barock” garden and park area at the Ludwigsburg Castle. Between spring flowers and blooming gardens, visitors will find large straw sculptures depicting this year’s theme, Noah’s Ark. The 15-meter long ark is made out of straw and other natural materials.
The little ones can explore a straw fortress, or bake cookies at the “Backstube,” or hands-on-bakery.
Freshly baked goods will offered from a traditional wood-fired oven, or Holzofen.
Visitors can also stroll through Germany’s largest Easter alley featuring more than 10,000 hand-painted Easter eggs.
Tickets cost €9. Children between the ages 4 and 15 cost €4.50. Family tickets (two adults and two children between the ages 4 and 15) cost €25.
