The “Museum der Alltagskultur,” or Museum of Everyday Culture, located at the Waldenbuch Castle, features a special holiday-inspired exhibition showcasing 29 Nativity Scenes throughout the various exhibition areas of the museum. Sets and figurines depicting members of the Holy Family will be on display and aim to create a unique interaction between the Nativity Scenes and its surroundings/setting within the museum.
The exhibition will open Nov. 26 (11 a.m. to 6 p.m.) during the Family Day at the Waldenbuch Castle.
Admission is €3. Admission for children 12 years, or younger, is free.
The museum is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday and on German federal holidays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The museum is closed on Mondays, except on German federal holidays.
The museum will be closed Dec. 24, 25 and 31. The museum is open Dec. 26 (Tuesday), Jan. 1 and Jan. 6, 2018 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
