German-American Art Show Bad Wimpfen
May 22 - July 27
German and American artists, all part of the German-American Artist Group, will showcase their works at The Rathaus, or city hall, in the historic town of Bad Wimpfen, just about an hour away from Stuttgart.
The works of German and American artists (amateur and professional) will be displayed through July 27 at the venue. Note: The exhibition will be open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to noon and Thursday from 2-6 p.m.
The exhibition aims to bring German and American artists and art lovers together, according to Erika Alber, a German artist and founder of the German-American Artist Group, a consortium of artists from Germany and all parts of the U.S., many of them affiliated with the military community in Stuttgart.
“Art is an effective medium to get to know and understand each other and enables a dialogue between the cultures,” Alber said.
Visitors to the exhibition will find a broad spectrum of media, to include photography, fabric and digital art, printmaking, painting and sculpture.
Admission to the exhibition is free.
Art lovers interested in visiting Bad Wimpfen and the exhibition as part of a group experience, can contact Erika Alber at civ. 07154-6673, or email: firstname.lastname@example.org.
