Exhibition at the DAZ “JFK @100 – The Kennedy Presidency & The Kennedy Myth”

October 17, 2017 - January 12, 2018

The Deutsch-Amerikanisches Zentrum (DAZ)/James-F.-Byrnes Institute Stuttgart will host an exhibition titled “JFK@100 -The Kennedy Presidency & The Kennedy Myth” referring to the 100th birthday of John F. Kennedy, the 35th President of the United States of America (1961-1963).

JFK is considered one of the most popular post World War II U.S. Presidents. Not only do Americans consider his 1,036 days in office a positive, Germans are also fascinated by Kennedy, mainly because of his visit to Berlin in 1963.

The JFK assassination records will be fully declassified by Oct. 26.

The exhibition will run until Jan. 12, 2018 at the Deutsch-Amerikanisches Zentrum (DAZ)/James-F.-Byrnes Institute Stuttgart. Viewing hours are Tuesday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., and 2-5 p.m.

Note: The DAZ will be closed from Dec. 22, 2017, until Jan. 8, 2018.

Admission to the exhibition is free.
