Tourist Passport cost to increase April 2

The Department of State has raised the price of some Tourist Passports. All applications done on a form DS-11 will cost $10 more starting April 2nd.

For applicants under age 16 the new cost is $115. For applicants who have never had a Passport, or this is the first Passport application after the age of 16, or those whose passports have been lost/stolen/mutilated; the new cost is $145. Applications for Consular Reports of Birth Abroad with a Tourist passport will cost $215.

Applications processed by the USAG Stuttgart passport office on Friday, March 30 will be mailed on April 2 and must be accompanied by a cashier’s check or money order for the new amount.

Adult renewals, form DS-82, will remain $110.
