From Saturday, June 11, Panzerstraße, Böblingen will again be open to traffic in both directions without restrictions. The U.S. Army plans on building a new shopping center on Panzer Kaserne, and more traffic is expected, so the road has been widened to create new turn lanes. In addition, the new bike path was extended and a new bike path crossing was provided at the junction to Musberger Sträßle.

The construction work to improve the performance between Thermalbadknoten and Schönaich began in May of last year. They have now been completed.
