The upcoming weekend will see a number of local public holidays surrounding Easter. Friday, April 18 (Good Friday), and Monday, April 21 (Easter Monday), are public holidays.
Some services around the garrison staffed largely by local national professionals will be closed on these days, including the Army Housing Office and Vehicle (POV) Inspection/Customer Service Team.
Vehicle Registration will run by appointment only with no walk-in service. The Personal Property Processing Office and Driver Training and Testing Station will have limited service.
If you’re not sure whether a service will be open, check their page on the USAG Stuttgart or My Army Post apps or the garrison website. If an office closes or adjusts availability on German holidays, this will be noted. For further questions, please contact the service directly.
Assume that most places on the economy which are usually closed on Sundays will also be closed on the holiday. This includes off-post grocery and retail stores.
Commissaries and Exchange-operated facilities will operate with normal hours, but some German-owned businesses in Exchange facilities will be closed or have revised hours. All businesses will return to normal hours on Tuesday, April 22. Below is the full listing of businesses which will have revised hours this Easter weekend.

Laundry/Dry Cleaning, Closed Friday-Monday (normally closed weekends)
Alterations, Closed Friday-Monday (normally closed weekends) - Kelley Barracks
Barber Shop, Closed Friday-Monday (normally closed weekends)
Subway, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday, Closed Monday (normally closed weekends)
Unrelated to the holiday closures, on Monday, April 21, the Panzer Kaserne APO/Finance services (outgoing mail) will be temporarily closed. The Panzer Community Mail Room (mail pickup) remains open during this time.
