July 21 demonstration at Patch cancelled; new demonstration outside of Kelley, July 20

UPDATE, July 8, 2019: The Polizei have informed the Directorate of Emergency Services that the demonstration scheduled for July 21 at Patch Barracks has been cancelled.

However, the same group has received permission to demonstrate on Saturday, July 20, at the Kelley Barracks main gate.  Between 50-100 demonstrators are expected and they’ve received permission to take photos of the event.
The reason for demonstration is that ‘Stuttgart soil should be the bedrock of peace.”


UPDATE, June 4, 2019:

The garrison Polizei liaison has notified the garrison Directorate of Emergency Services of the following registered demonstrations scheduled to take place outside of Patch and Kelley Barracks. All demonstrations are expected to be peaceful with no more than 50 demonstrators expected, based upon information currently provided by the Polizei.

At Patch Barracks,  July 14 and 21 at 3 p.m.

At Kelley Barracks, June 28 at 2 p.m.

DES will provide any new updates as it receives them or announce adjustments to main gate procedures if necessary.


UPDATE, May 9, 2019: The May 11 demonstration at the Kelley main gate has been cancelled.


The Polizei informed the USAG Stuttgart Directorate of Emergency Services that a demonstration scheduled to take place at the Patch main gate on May 10 has been cancelled.

Demonstrations are still planned for May 11-12 outside of Kelley Barracks.
