DOD Safe Helpline Training Opportunity

A Department of Defense (DOD) Safe Helpline training is scheduled April 19 from 1-2:30 p.m. at the Panzer Chapel Fellowship Hall, Panzer Kaserne.

Attendees will receive training on the services provided by the DoD Safe Helpline and Sexual Assault Support Resources.

The training is available for all First Responders, supervisors, commanders, 1Sgts, medical, legal and law enforcement personnel, SHARP professionals, victim advocates and all ID cardholders interested in the service.

SHARP Professionals will receive one hour CEU D-SAACP Credit and an additional two-hour Ethics training for CEU D-SAACP Credit.

2018 Theme: “Shaping a Culture of Trust”

    • April 2: Day of Action – Tune-in to AFN Stuttgart AFN 360 radio at 7 a.m. to learn more.
    • April 4: Proclamation Signing at Garrison Installation Staff Meeting, 9 a.m., Kelley Club.
    • April 19: DOD Safe Helpline Training, 1 p.m., Panzer Chapel Fellowship Hall.
    • April 25: Denim Day – All military/civilians wear denim to raise awareness of rape and sexual assault.  Cake Cutting at Panzer Exchange (Time TBD). The Panzer Exchange is also offering 25% off denim.
    • April 27: Experience Prevention – Come out to the Exchange starting at 11 a.m. for free burgers and hot dogs, plus Go-Cart rides, giveaways and training opportunities for all ID cardholders.
