Better Opportunities for Single Servicemembers

Calling all BOSS members! The “End of Summer” party, originally scheduled for noon–3 p.m., Aug. 23, on the Panzer parade field, is rescheduled for Sept. 13. Games, complimentary burgers, dogs and drinks, a DJ and the opportunity to get your BOSS on.

Also in BOSS news, volunteers wanted Sept. 6–7, to assist with setting up/breaking down tables at the upcoming CARE Fair. Volunteers are encouraged to track their hours in VMIS through ArmyOneSource.

Projected Events
Stuttgart High School Mentorship Program: This program will be ran like the Big Brother/Sister program.  We will be developing surveys for those interested in order to better place each student.  We will start out by attending lunch with your assigned child. Each student will be assigned multiple Big Brothers/Sisters.  We will be starting with a small number of students to get the program up and running.

Volunteer Events

Oct.17: Retiree Appreciation Day: Swabian Event Center on Patch; dress uniform is mandatory.
