Army Lodging adjusting rates to change in October

IMCOM Europe G9

SEMBACH, Germany – Starting Oct. 1, the Department of Defense is transitioning all of its lodging operations to non-appropriated funding.

At that point, Army Lodging will adjust room rates at the minimum amount necessary to cover the full cost of operations, such as maintenance, support and sustainment. With the transition, lodging programs and facilities will also have to pay for utilities and services provided by installations.

The adjustment will affect temporary-duty and permanent-change-of-station rates in all Army Lodging Europe facilities beginning in October. Travelers may contact the garrison lodging front desk or customer service section for exact amounts, which vary at each location.
