U.S. Army Garrison Stuttgart’s Army Community Service Center was selected as the recipient of the Army Community Service Installation Award of Excellence for 2015.

In addition, Kristine Bell, former information, referral and follow-up program manager, was selected as the recipient of the Army Community Service Individual Award of Excellence.

In order to receive the Installation Award of Excellence, the respective organization typically is evaluated on its quality and delivery of services, meaning that staff members go above and beyond their normal duties and regular job requirements.

For the Individual Army Community Service Award of Excellence, the evaluation criteria is based on excellence in leadership, improvement of programs and services, creativity and outstanding performance.

Part of the USAG Stuttgart Army Community Service mission is to be the link to family programs for all branches of service. ACS provides a plethora of programs, services, classes, resources and guidance to service members, retirees, civilians, contractors, and their respective family members in Stuttgart.

Community members can visit ACS just as they would the Airman and Family Readiness Center, Fleet and Family Support Center, or Marine and Family Programs.

Visit ACS in Building 2915 on Panzer Kaserne, or call DSN: 431-3360/civ.7031-15-3362. For a list of services, visit http://stuttgart.armymwr.com.

Editor’s note: Kristine Bell is currently working with the Family and Morale Welfare and Recreation’s marketing division. Bell will officially be awarded by the USAG Stuttgart command team during a garrison workforce town hall meeting in July.acs mwr
